Producer/Director SABRINA LEE

Sabrina has been exercising her creative vision and passion for story-telling for more than a decade. Previously a professional modern dancer and choreographer, in 2005 she turned her artistic eye toward documentary filmmaking after spotting a hand-painted sign in a cow pasture reading “Hip-Hop Show Tonight.” She was then inspired to make WHERE YOU FROM, the award-winning feature-length documentary about rural rap, which had a successful festival run and was acquired by IndiePix films in 2009. NOT YET BEGUN TO FIGHT, a provocative documentary about wounded warriors, was also produced and co-directed by Sabrina and will be released in the Spring of 2012. She completed her BA at Duke University, where she studied film (without her father’s consent) and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She lives in Montana with her husband and two children, breathing plenty of fresh air and encountering the occasional wild animal.

Director/Editor SHASTA GRENIER

Shasta only discovered the proverbial worth of the picture after a long history with words. But she always draws from her roots in bread and butter narrative (MA English, University of British Columbia). With a knack for finding stories in mounds of footage, Shasta is mesmerized by the siren call of the unexpected and the overlooked. Those sirens have been variously incarnated as small town basketball players (CLASS C: THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN), forgotten musical pioneers (NEVER LONG GONE), and orphaned owlets (EXPEDITION WILD, NatGeoWild). By gratefully and respectfully appropriating stories and regularly losing sleep, Shasta has earned numerous Regional Emmy, CINE Golden Eagle, Telly, and film festival awards.

Director of Photography JUSTIN LUBKE

Justin Lubke grew up in a tiny Montana town. After leaving home, he did social work in the slums of Rio de Janeiro and made his first film with an indigenous tribe in south India. Eventually, Justin returned to Montana, graduating from Montana State University with an honors degree in filmmaking. For ten years, Justin has worked in non-fiction and fiction film. He has directed, shot and edited a variety of programs with topics ranging from grizzly bears to basketball to various commercial spots. His work has appeared on major networks throughout the world.  Justin directed, shot and edited a feature length documentary, CLASS C, a film that has won multiple film festivals and two Emmy awards. He is currently working on several projects in eastern Africa and on a new music documentary that features some of rock and roll’s greatest icons.

Line Producer WYATT NELSON

Wyatt has worked in the film, television and commercial industry in New York, Los Angeles and Montana in a variety of roles. He has been a crew member on such films as Woody Allen’s CELEBRITY, FIRST DAUGHTER with Katie Holmes, and the television series WILL & GRACE. Wyatt was office manager for the production company Crazy Mountain Ink, where he was a member of HBO’s pre-production team during the development of the mini series BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE. He has assisted commercial directors and producers for clients such as Toyota and Ford Motors. Wyatt graduated with honors from Montana State University with a BA in film and photography. He lives in Montana with his wife and three children.
